Noragami Review

Noragami (anime):
Rating: 8/10

Disclaimer: I do NOT own this wonderful anime (sadly). Just my opinion. Loved to hear yours, too~ [SPOILERS ARE INCLUDED]

Main Characters: Yato, Yukine (Sekki), and Iki Hiyori
Yato: Your ever loving broke fame-seeking lead with a dark past; super hilarious and caring~
Yukine: ;-; the feels..... Oh, Yukine... Rebellious teenager with dark past who just wants to be loved
Hiyori: One of the several other anime girls who are strong, caring, and able to defy all laws with just their words only (Someone please find me a shounen  anime with no females, lol XD <-- not being sexist or anything, I just want to see what an anime like that would be like)

Tears Shed: (actually times I cried) 2 <-- a handful for Yukine (I got attracted the moment I saw him) and one for the end (you know that feeling when you've finished a good anime :)  )

Summary: Noragami is Japanese for 'stray god' (which I believe is for Yato). Yato, once the god of calamity, wants to be a popular god and be well-respected. He meets Hiyori after she "saves" him from getting hit by a bus (he's already dead) instead she ends up getting hit and becomes a half-Phantom. Phantoms are from the Far Shore while humans are from the Near Shore. Hiyori is explained this and asks Yato to fix her body so she can stay Near Shore and he tells her that her request shall be granted. Hiyori stays by Yato's side as he fights Phantoms and makes Yukine his Shinki (aka Regalia) (once humans, now dead, and are used as weapons to fight Phantoms). A god and his/her Shinki share thoughts and impure thoughts or sins can cause the god to become blighted (excruciating pain that is contagious). Because Yukine's wrong doings, Yato was in pain and growing weak to the point were he almost died, but Yukine received his punishment (almost turning into a Phantom, though) and confessed all of his sins. Everybody's happy :') But then Nora had to go and fuck things up. A nora (stray) is Shinki that has been used by several gods and takes on job you wouldn't want your own Shinki doing. Nora was once Yato's Shinki and she constantly tells Yato to ditch Yukine and to use her again (which causes several problems later). She hates Hiyori and Yukine and just wants Yato. On New Years' Day, she encounters Hiyori, has some Phantoms chase her, and takes away her memory of Yato. Later, Yukine and Yato realized it was Nora's doing and slowly, Hiyori forgets more about Yato and eventually Yukine as well. Yato slowly starts to develop feelings for Hiyori and puts himself and Yukine in danger by fighting Rabo, the other god of calamity who was once close with Yato. Rabo plays dirty by using the Phantoms around him to fight Yato and destroys Hiyori's memories in front of Yato (trigger lol). BUUUUT Hiyori some how over comes the curse and remembers Yato and Yukine, then Yato becomes all OP and kills Rabo. (Great fight by the way XD )
Everything is back to normal and Yato promises to fulfill his wish by cutting off ties with Hiyori, but she refuses and declares that wants to be by Yato's side forever, then it gets all touching and Yato says her wish has been heard loud and clear. Fin.

I really recommend this anime; it's hilarious, touching, and has some some pretty cool fight scenes~
